We started Literal Neighbors with a simple idea: to create a podcast that could change how people do book clubs. The setting is casual and the words inappropriate at times, but we promise to always tell it how it is. We love reading and we love talking about it after and we hope you'll join us in this journey.
We want to make reading casual, fun, and convesrational, and we think book clubs should be all those things, too. We vent, we make jokes, and we want you to be a part of the convo! We hope our episodes can launch conversations online with our fellow readers and make the book club experience something everyone has time to take part in.
We read books of all genres and love sharing our thoughts on them. From thriller to young adult, nonfiction to comedy, we love discussing what we're reading. Sometimes it's a love fest, sometimes it's a list of complaints, and sometimes we have questions -- and we want to share them all with you!
